Yep they do (credit card -- there is no debit in korea). Not too sure about the meat dude though. He may only accept cash. |

Sure there is, give your bank card to a cashier at a lot of stores and they will just go run it off and debit it from your account. It is not as easy as back home (at least in Canada) and they get you to sign a receipt. That's what made me think people were charging everything but it's just debit. |

This i didn' know. I've never seen the number pad for PIN numbers in any store. Whats the surcharge for this? |

I am not sure of the charge but I know I pay 1000 W when I use an ATM that is not Shinhan. They don't use a key pad but call it in which is why it appears that they are using a credit card. My card actually says Debit Card on it but O only got this when I requested an international card. |

Actually, there are regular debit cards here too with VISA symbols on them. They are the same as in North America. |
