Does anyone know if Apple run the 'Back to School' promo like they do in the US, UK, HK, etc? Any idea when they run it here? In the US it's May-September.

It's the promo where they offer a free ipod if you buy an iMac/Macbook. Anyone know if teachers can benefit from this? Or is it only students?

I have never seen any promotion like this from Apple Korea.

Apple Korea used to do this, but I didn't see it advertised last year, so maybe they have stopped. Even when they did do it, it was not nearly as good a deal as they run in the US.

In Korea, they gave you different amounts of discount based on which computer and iPod you got. Basically, the more expensive the computer, the more discount on the iPod. If I remember correctly, the best you could manage was a discount of about 60% off the price of an iPod Touch. In the worst case, you only got about 20% off the price of an iPod.

You can probably get a refurbished iPod for a similar discount.
