Hi,
I just found out via the Air Canada website that my dog can not travel back from Canada during the summer months! As you can imagine this sucks to no end and I already made my bookings thinking it wouldn't be a problem as the agent told me it wouldn't. He is currently there and I was hoping to bring him back this summer as I don't want to burden his temporary foster parents any longer. Are you or anyone you know travelling from Toronto to Seoul after September 10th? I would really appreciate my boy being able to hitch a ride with ya.
This would be pretty much no hassle for you at all. Just message me with your dates, booking reference and contact information. I will handle the rest. I will make all the arrangements, pay all the fees up front and we can sort something out for your time once he arrives. You basically just need to be there when he is checked in and pick him up in customs in the Korean airport. His foster parents will bring him to you at the airport and assist with checking him in. I will be here in Korea and will help check him out.
I would appreciate this a ton. Flying him cargo is not an option when it is over 2500 bucks. However, if you know of a service that can provide a more reasonable rate, please post that information. Thank you so much.
It would be best if you are travelling only through Canada. I am unsure of the policies of transporting a pet through the US onward into Korea. Ideally, a direct flight from Toronto would be best for the dog. But, I'm not picky, just want everything to go smoothly for all involved.
Post here if you are willing to help out and we can go from there.
Thanks again.

Flights can't be switched and I have vacation during the summer months. Just hoping someone is flying during the time I wrote. Again, he is being well looked after but I miss the guy and would like to bring him back. I thought the arrangements were made after I spoke to a travel agent but Air Canada has informed me that they do not transport dogs in the baggage compartments during the hot summer months. I understand the policy hence looking for someone who is travelling in the late summer/early fall. |
