|

I am trying to arrange for pick-up of my US passport for renewal, to be send to the US Embassy in Seoul (courier, Hanjin Taekbae). But I cannot do it online, it seems, because the address doesn't list a "dong," and that is the only way to search to put in addresses on the website. The embassy only lists Sejongno, Jongno-gu on the website. Any idea what "dong" the US embassy is in (so that I can do this by e-mail rather than having to call and wait on hold)? |

maps.naver.com and daum.net list it as 서울 종로구 수소동 세종로 82-14(Su-so-dong). Might want to double-check it, but it's Jongro-gu for sure. On the US Embassy letterhead (from some other business I had with them) lists the postal code as 110-710, but no 'dong' though. Hope this helps. |

Since the "Dd" combination doesn't exist at the beginning of words in English I'd recommend translating into the English approximation (with a disclaimer):
FECES:UNKNOWN.
Hopefully that will help with finding the only citizen-servicing US Embassy in Seoul. |
