Galaxy Player purchased 2 months ago and only used once.
I purchased this, and the next day my wife bought me an iPhone 4.
In BRAND-NEW condition. 350,000won.
Comes with extra (crocodile skin blue) case and 32GB memory card. All accessories (new ear phones, recharger, etc and original box).
It sports a 4-inch screen, two cameras, Flash support, built-in stereo speakers, GPS functionality, Wi-Fi, and full access to the Android Market.
The device features a model number of YP-GB1 and is powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, along with a 1GHz processor and features a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel Super Clear LCD display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HD video playback, microSD card support, 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera and also a front-facing camera for video calls.
In Jamsil, (Seoul),

Yes - skype, msn, kakoa, Google, gmail, etc works on it.
(Its basically the Korean version of iPod - but with a battery that lasts 5 times longer than iPod and can be changed, and a slot for adding memory cards - that iPod doesn't allow). |

1. What is the deal with the GPS. Do you need to be in a wifi spot for it to work (using the internet)? Or is it like a car gps where it can work anywhere without the internet
2. Which version is this? the 8 gb or the 32 gb? |

There is FREE wifi everywhere in Seoul.
(There is NO 32GB Galaxy player) - Samsung only makes 8GB and 16GB Galaxy players.
The one I am selling is 8GB + 32GB memory card ( = 40GB ) |

| You did not answer my question. Do you require the wifi for the GPS to work? say I am in the middle of the desert, a place far far away from a wifi. will the gps work? |

the gps works if you have maps downloaded on your device ... with "Melbourne travel guide" app, which has city map available, I could see my current position in the city without wifi on galaxy player |

Do you not have any problems connecting to non locked wireless signals?
I know there are tons of wifi signals in Seoul showing with no lock on it/password required...but they rarely ever connect. |

I am in Jamsil (Seoul) and find free unlocked wifi everywhere.
It may be different in other parts of Seoul, but I have never had a problem getting wifi.
No problem connecting to non locked wireless signals |

that is because you need to have a membership with whatever carrier you are trying to connect to.
Personally, I would say that wifi sucks in Seoul if you are looking at only free options. If you are a KT customer with a data plan, then the reverse is true and there really is wifi in most places. |
