hi there...
ive been seeing these days on TV from KT (olleh) about their new 4g services. of course.. being the skeptical foreign cynic.. i had my doubts.
can anybody try to clarify what this means for korean telecom subscribers besides just faster data service?
do you have to subscribe to this? increased costs for this service? or is it just automatically done?
can i assume this has no relevance to iphone 4 users until a iphone 4g appears? |

KT has invested heavily in LTE (4G) technology. It's definitely the real thing. In fact Kora is leading the world in 4G. I would imagine you would need to subscribe to it. I imagine eventually 4G will take the place of 3G like 3G did for 2G. Yes, any phone will need to be made to work on LTE, which could be simply a new chip or SIM or firmware update... |
