Coming to Seoul for a job interview next week. Going to be solo. Where is a good place to get a couple drinks for a lone male. Korean places always seem more geared toward big groups. And I feel like a dick on my own in those places. Bear in mind I'll probably be crashing at a Sinchon motel.

There are literally 100's of bars around that area that are not for big groups. Also, it is within 15 minutes of Hongdae on foot.

Beer o'Clock is in Sinchon and they have a bar you can sit at, great food, great atmosphere, etc.

Go out exit 2 (towards Yonsei University) and keep walking until you come to the large four-way intersection. Turn left and walk maybe 10m. Across the street (look right) you will see a street (probably filled with people). There will be a 7-11 on one side and a pharmacy on the other. Cross and go down this street. Continue down and take the third street on the left.
*You will pass street games (air soft, darts, etc) once you see a baseball pitching room on your left, just take the next left turn.

You will see (hear) Beer o'Clock on your left a little down the street on the second floor.
