|
|
I'm planning on going to the Boseong green tea fields this Saturday and I'm wandering what the evening/night bus schedule is from Boseong to Gwangju on Saturday evenings. I tried searching on the internet, but even using my patchy Korean the best I could find was some message board post from a year ago with a picture of a handwritten sign. I'd like to book a hotel in Gwangju for Saturday night, but I want to make sure that I can make it out of Boseong in the evening.
Thanks for any help. |

Regional bus operations from small counties are still... old school.
According to someone's blog entry half a year ago;
http://blog.naver.com/adelig/20117371819
The last bus out is at 21:00 which calls at Boknae and Hwasoon by default, and the last 'non-stop' bus to Gwangju leaves at 18:25.
Unless you're counting on the very last run, you should be fine getting out in time, give or take half an hour variation from six months ago. Net journey time difference between regular-stopping and non-stop services is supposed to be 30 minutes. |

If you can navigate Korean-language sites you'll find schedules to and from a bunch of cities, towns, and villages from Gwangju's U-Square terminal website:
