I've been offered a contract from this school but I'm a little short on info from less subjective sources. Does anyone have any insight on this particular establishment? Any tidbits of information would be appreciated.

I don't know about ECC but I lived in Gwangyang for six months and it was a boring, boring six months.

POSCO, the steel company, is the big thing in Gwangyang.

No cinema.

Closest cinema is in Suncheon, about 25-30 minutes away by car.

I think you could do much better than Gwangyang.

All the sea around Gwangyang looks pretty ugly because of all the factory work going on around Gwangyang, so don't let anyone paint pictures of crystal-clear water or anything like that to you.

Namhae, about an hour or so away, has come nice beaches. But they're hard to get to without your own car.
