Hello, I just got to Geochang last night and have no idea how to get hot water for the shower. I'm assuming that this device controls the heat, but i have no idea how to use it. here is a link of the thermostat device:

I tried messing around with it but had no luck. Thanks!!

Aah ! Geochang! Happy memories, but I do remember the sucky hot water system. You need to look for something like 온수 (hot water) and press buttons to make the light come on. Sorry I can't be any more specific. It's been years since I lived in a place that didn't have hot water on tap, I'd forgotten how annoying it is.
Where are you working in Geochang?
PM me if you have enough posts

That looks like you have the heating on there, you want the lights next to the green and red buttons to be on, and also the light below the temperature. When you turn the tap on the light at the top left should come on, it can take a few minutes to heat up. Also if you continue having problems only lift the tap thing half up so the water pressure is lower.

Ok, link working fine now. Yours is just like mine. You want the red AND green lights on. If the green light is off, that means your floor heat is ON. Weird, I know.

Ouch. Hot water is the least of your worries.

Figured it out yet? I've got the same box.

Activate both buttons on the top right. Wait 5 or 10 minutes. Enjoy hot shower.

When you're finished hit the top right button again. That'll turn all the lights off, which means you're not burning gas when you dont need it.

I used to work at that school, before it moved into the new building and before the boss bought a CDI franchise
