I found a website a while back to check the weather in Korea and it's the hands-down the best site I've found for weather so far.
http://web.kma.go.kr/eng/index.jsp (English version)
Previously, there wasn't an English version of it, but it seems like they've updated it at some point to have one. The only problem with the English site is that it only gives you the forecast for the next couple of days out instead of for the week like the Korean version does.
If you want to use the Korean version go here instead
http://www.kma.go.kr/weather/main.jsp
For those that have trouble reading Korean, here's the quick start guide.
1. First you'll want to set what region your interested in getting weather information for (should only need to do this once)
2. Click on the dark gray button (변경하기)at the right end of the green box towards the top of the page
3. A little box should open up, then select your province
4. Next select your county
5. Select your city or area
6. Now you want to save your selection by clicking on the second dark gray button (관심지역 동록) from the top of the box
7. A dialog will pop-up saying something about setting be saved, just click ok
8. The box will disappear and now you should see Hapchon's weather in detail for the next couple of days and an outlook for the week
If you don't really like that site, here's another one that's not as detailed but still has a decent outlook (Korean only).

Actually, the Korean Weather Service website does give the forecast for the next week in English. It's just kind of hidden behind some links. Here is the direct page for the full length forecast:
http://web.kma.go.kr/eng/weather/forecast/mid-term.jsp
I have found it to be a little inconsistent on the long term part of it, about 5-6 days out, but what weather forecast page isn't these days? |
