Hi

Ive got a flight coming into Korea at night (lands just after 10)

From what I can tell- I will miss the last airport bus in to Seoul - what time does the airport part of the subway close?

Any ideas short of paying 9 million won for a taxi?

thanks

I'm sure they are buses through out the night. If not, the new express rail link runs all night. It's cheaper than most of the buses too and takes half the time.

I'm pretty sure the last train leaves Incheon for Seoul Station at about 11:20, so you should make it.

Then... short taxi ride to Guro if you miss the last train on Line 1.

No problem.

Also, if you miss the last train to Seoul Station, there will be a few more leaving up until midnight, which will get you to Digital Media City, and one which only goes to Geomam (from experience, it can be quite difficult to get a taxi from there). Just a heads up.

If you're going to Guro, try the subway.

Last train from Seoul Station (Underground) to Guro departs at 24:09.

Counting back one hour journey time from ICN to Seoul Station by AREX, Line 1 connection is barely doable if you could catch 22:57 from ICN, but practically no chance if you depart after 11, that is 23:09 or 23:21 trains.

Last bus from Seoul Station to Guro, no. 503, also departs at around 24:10.

Alternatively, if you make it through the customs to the curbside 6B or 13A in 45 minutes or so, the last run of 6004 departs at 22:50 which takes you to Seoksu or Geumcheon-gu Office Station via Gwangmyeong KTX.

From Seoksu, the last northbound is at 24:18 on weekdays.

Wait, to the OP, what subway station do you live closest to? You can take the airport line then switch to the No. 5 line to get into Seoul. If you live by Guro station or something, you can change from the No. 5 line to the No. 1 line at Singil station.
