I doubt I'll do this... I figure it was my mistake to live with, but I have two tattoos I regret and find more and more childish and embarrassing with the years. One is very small, could be covered by three quarters (on my left forearm, if that matters), and the other is bigger, could be covered with about half a palm, on my chest.

Does anyone know how the procedure(s) work? Costs? How many visits? Just how well is it removed? If anyone has any place they'd like to recommend, I'm all ears.

Thanks.

I saw a woman at daiso last week with what could only have been tattoo removal scars (she had other tattoos on her body and three identical scars in typical tattoo spots: shoulder, upper arm and one other spot, I forget.) anyway they looked like really bad burns or something. Probably worse than the original tats. So I'm no expert but I'd say get em done in the US.

Buy me a beer and give me a sec to sharpen my field knife and I'll do it for you. Much cheaper than laser removal, and you'll be able to tell the girls that they're shrapnel wounds or something. Chicks dig scars.

Think, people. A tattoo is a commitment. Too many people show up in a tattoo shop and ask the tattooist, "What do you think I should get?"

People, take a tatto seriously. It is a lifetime commitment. Make it seem as if you are getting a major operation. Find something that has meaning to you. Research the tattoo shop. Make sure that you have some stability in your life when you get a tattoo. Or else you have to be like the OP and pay a lot more for laser removal and the pain involved in it. OP, a lot of the skin clinics here in Korea do laser removal. Very easy to find one. But again, research it.
