As a general rule, when your address changes you have to notify immigration within 14 days. But as for whether you're "gonna get in trouble", I don't think you've provided enough information.

What do you mean exactly? Do you mean "I moved but didn't report it to anyone" or "I officially notified immigration of my change of address but my ARC doesn't reflect the change" or something different?

Is the apartment in your name or is it your school's apartment?

Which visa do you have?

Where's Ttompatz?

My friend told me he was fined 100,000 for not reporting it within 2 weeks. He also said the fine increases on a daily basis. I had moved months before so i just never informed immi and didn't have any problems. If it's been a while since you moved i think it's best to just keep it quiet and avoid instances where you have to provide authorities with an address.
I could be wrong.

You must either report your address change to immigration or your local gu office. Failure to do so is an offense accompanied by a fine. I don't know the amount of the fine.

Just go tell them you have a new address. If they ask you when you moved, tell them it was last week. They're not going to know differently.

Under K Immigration law, E-series visa holders have 14 days to make an Obligatory Declaration of a change of address to the Immigration office.

P.S. I moved... filled out the form and reported it to my local Immi office. They just entered the new address in the computer and never asked about the date.

You also have the same amount of time to report a new passport. I think you get 30 days to report the birth of a child.

I brought my new passport to immi to ask for a 30 day extension for traveling. I had to inform the immi agent that I made a mistake and had not informed them about the change of passport number in the required time. I'm sure I could have been fined, but I think, because I spoke to the guy in Korean, he let me off the hook.

Do I need to bring any proof of my new address?
Is my passport and alien card all I need to bring?

Go to the Gu-office or your local kimmi office (whichever works better for you).

If you just fill in the form and submit it (along with your ARC and passport) Kimmi will update your file, mark the change on your ARC, return your ARC and passport to you and send you on your way (even if you are late).

They typically won't fine you (for a late report) if you report the change voluntarily.

If you get caught for something else (immigration or criminal violation) and they note that you haven't updated your file you will get fined for it.
