Hi there,
Recently I completed a two year stint teaching English in South Korea. I'm a British resident and now I've returned home. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any chance I can get hold of the cash that is in my Korean pension? I've heard a rumour we could have this sent to the UK as NI contributions but elsewhere I've also read that this isn't true.
Does anyone have an update on the situation at all?
Cheers |

As far as I'm aware, you're SOL at the moment. The sending the pension to your UK pension pot is, according to the DWP, false - it can't be done. |

You will have to see about claiming your pension in Korea at retirement age. |

I think all pension scheme's are BS, people should be allowed to take their money and invest it how they see fit.
