Let's say you're temporarily on a tourist visa.

Let's say you're temporarily unemployed, but actively looking for a job.

Let's say you need a small (1MKW) loan just to float you till you get a new job, house, and re-settled.

Where might one get something like that? Do you think there are some kind of foreigner service charities that could help?

I mean, everybody falls on bad times every now and then. It doesn't mean that person is lazy or bad at what they do. It just means the dice didn't roll in their favor and they're stretched a bit thin at the moment.

On a tourist visa you're unlikely to get anything legit.
and no, there are no foreign service charities.

You will have to get a job that will pay for your visa run and give you cash for Japan in advance meaning you won't be able to be choosy.

As far as the loan goes there may be people that would sling you a couple of hundred, but the fact you are after a million rings alarm bells to me. Especially as you don't have a job yet. As you have been in Korea before, you should have friends that can help although I wouldn't recommend you ask them until you secure a job.

If you have genuinely messed up, I am not judging you, but you will need to go to your embassy to contact family/friends back home to see if they will help or if you are an extreme situation, if your government will make an emergency loan to you.

I was once in your situation, a friend loaned me 150k and I got a job straight away.

Ask a family member or a friend for a loan, or to be a co-signer of one. If you have neither, then something is not quite right.

I know a place near wolgie, sure because of your situation and visa, you'll probaly need collateral, I know they did a short term loan for a guy in a similar situation and it cost him $100,000 (5%) but he was on a F2 and borrowed 2mkw, he got well screwed over by his boss though, if you want details, pm me some details and can pass them on and you can talk direct.
