Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has any gyms to recommend around the Samseong subway station in Gangnam. My friend showed me a good one that charges about 100,000 won/month. It has a variety of machines, free towels, and a putting green that I'll never use. It looks good but the price is high and I'm wondering about my other options. Thanks in advance!

Most gyms around the area will be around that price range or more especially if you go month to month. If you prepay a year in advance, you might be able to go down lower but for most gyms of quality, a year membership might still run you 700-800,000 won.

If you're on a budget and are just looking for something really basic, you might want to check out the Samsung-dong Community Center. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the subway station.

The pricing works as 45,000 won per month if you want to go anytime (6 days a week, all hours). You can also choose a 30,000 won per month plan which only let's you go within a 3 hour span 3 times a week. For example, MWF, 7PM - 10PM.
