I have no hope of fitting into anything in Korea. How difficult is it to get clothes tailor made? Is material expensive? What is the average price for a pair of pants, a shirt, or a skirt not including the material? Is it any cheaper to go to Seoul for tailoring? |

So, hey, I'll admit it --I'm fat. So what. I still need to wear clothes, especially when it's cold. If I come to Korea, will I be the only fat teacher there? Will I spend half my salary having clothes made? |

I have some stuff made up, but they have been skirts made from cool fabric I have seen in the markets. My advice would be to try and bring a lot of 'basics' with you like shirts with you as they tend to be expensive to have made up and don't take up that much room. Most of the tailors I have seen in Itaewon and stock their own fabric. |

Seoul has many places for good tailoring for men. I am sure there must be some places for women in Itaewon. |

Where are you now? If you are not in Korea now, I bet a lot of the cloths you have now were made in Korea.
There are Big size stores in Korea. Some have pants up to size 65.
And xxx tall size shirts etc. |

In answer to your question, I'm in Oman. It costs about 15,404.6 Korean won to have a pair of pants or shirt made here. I'm wondering how this compares to Korea. Its reassuring to know I can get pants up to size 65. Do you know if a Korean size 65 would be the same as an American 65? |

65 inch. Those pants are made either for export or to sell in big stores in korea. |
