So I love my kids, and, as most of you probably do also, treat them with snacks or treats at the end of the semester.
What better way for students to repay you than by returning the exact same favour.
The difference is...the very big difference is, the candy or snack they offer you often comes from freshly licked fingers, sweaty palms or from pockets which they've sat in for about a week.
Now I don't want to break their little hearts, but it's difficult to accept when a kid pulls out a week old candy from their pocket and insists on putting it in my mouth.
You guys have similar experiences? |

My kids often give me candy, but I always just take it and say I'll eat it later. None of them have tried to feed me, yet. |

And if they insist you eat it, just use a little slight of hand to make it look like you put it in your mouth and then just toss it when they go away. |

Yeah, the ramen and such I'll just accept and then sneakily toss away. I'll say "wow, so spicy!" for good measure.
Otherwise candy and snacks come pre-wrapped a lot of times. But that dry ramen.... yeuck! |

oh man, I love the dry ramen snack!! But either way, if they give me something that's questionable I normally tell them I'll eat it at break time.....also so that all the kids don't think they can munch away in the classroom.. |
