What the heck happened to the Discovery Channel? It was the one good channel on the television here. I'm watching right now, and there is a Korean family with kids screaming, and they're sitting around on the floor eating. Did too many people call their local cable providers and complain about all of the interesting science-based programs, or what? Jeez! |

Discovery Channel Korea is really Discovery Channel Asia or something as it shows pretty much the same programs as the Discovery Channel in other Asian countries.
If you have Skylife, you can also get Discovery HD. |

Nope, it WAS Discovery Channel Asia. Not it's been changed and features Korean programming but still has the Discovery Channel prime time-type lineup at night. |

What's worse, it features ridiculously mundane and boring Korean "average life" programming that can be found on 50 other channels at any given time of day.
If they had unique programming on technology, science, industry, or culture with English subtitles then it might be interesting. Instead it's more of the same drivel you find on other channels 24/7. |

Get Qook TV from KT. Has English History Channel and a bunch of other English channels on TV. |

Hey at least there's still FOX and a small smattering of foreign film channels. |

You sure it's not National Geographic you're talking about? I'm looking at the listings for Discovery Channel Asia and it seems like the same for Discovery Channel Korea. |

I disagree about Nat Geo Adventure. It's not that interesting a channel save the "Banged Up Abroad" and "Locked Up Abroad" series (Aussies seem to be disproportionately represented in the two shows but I digress). |

Did it recently change? I had it for awhile and it never showed things like that. That being said, it did have a ridiculous amount of reruns and a more limited selection of shows.
Also, the show Living City: Singapore, which they were heavily advertising for a few months ago, was awesome. |

I checked the programming schedule for Discovery Channel Korea and it's pretty similar to the one for the Asian channel save the times and episodes. And also, EVERYTHING is in English with Korean subtitles so there's no language barrier. |
