#43 - Beautiful Women - Okay yes Seoul has a lot of beautiful woman, but they also boast a staggering number of ajummas. Who totally kill my excitement with their awful stares, huge visors, and garlic/squid/kimchi breath. |

You don't need to be an avid Korea-basher to say that "No. 1 City in the World" is being very generous, to say the least. It does have it's charms and can be fun, but even the most committed apologist can probably see this as a substantial stretch of the imagination. |

#23? He thinks it's "cool" that there's a war zone on the northern border? |

+1
Korea is spending money on it's brand these past 10 years.
guess they hate not being number 1 or even number 2(hong kong)
I mean it's always TOKYO, HONG KONG
London, PARIS, NEW YORK, TOKYO
Korea or seoul isn't really mentioned in the sentence.
guess they hate that. |

McDonald's delivered in Cairo.
Cairo had a warzone in its heart recently.
And, overall, is a much cooler city than Seoul. |

I'm a big fan of Seoul, but a lot of this seems the work of a sheltered individual depending on anecdotes garnered from a weekend passing through:
Cinemas without armrests? Sometimes you can lift them...same as in the States and Canada.
McDonald's delivers? This is true of pretty much all of Asia and some major cities in North America.
Coex? It's not even the best mall in Seoul. |

20. Soju is cheaper than water
Soju martinis and soju cosmopolitans are debuting in bars overseas, but in Seoul, we prefer to drink the distilled rice (usually) beverage neat, or mixed with whiskey. |
Soju and whiskey? |

How did I miss that? I'm pretty sure someone made this crap up by looking at Galbi Jim and Wiki. |
