| Heading down to Daegu for the World's Track championships in August. All the corporate-type hotels are long booked. Can anyone recommend a middle of the road (35-70,000) place near one of the subway lines? |

| There's one just outside beomeo station that is either 40 or 50,000 a night. It's called New Yeungnam Hotel (it also has a decent buffet). It's about 10 or so minutes from the main downtown drag. |

| There's the Mellow Yellow (love motel) for about $60 which is by the fire station downtown (tell the taxi driver "Sam Duck So Bang Saw") |

| Top Motel. 70,000 for one night. All the movies, porn, ramen, drinks, ice cream you can indulge. And honestly, it was the best ice cream I've had in Korea. |
