1. Keep it quiet when everyone is sleeping.
2. Don't open the window shade when it's sunny when everyone is sleeping.
3. Turn off your cellphone when they tell you too. One lady I saw kept yacking despite the stewardess telling her three times she had to turn off the phone just before we departed.
4. Unless given the green light keep your hands and dirty comments to yourself. Leave the pretty stewardesses and other female passengers alone.
5. Don't smash your carry-on luggage in the bin to prove how strong you are. Take your time to arrange it properly or ask for assistance.
6. At least wash yourself before the flight. 12+ hours sitting next to someone that hasn't is skeevy.
7. Say "thank you" to the person serving you the food. Say "thank you" to the airline crew when exiting the plane.
8. Don't leave a disgusting mess after using the bathroom. You know what I'm talking about. Clean it up!

Don't vigorously pull on the seat in front of you when you want to stand up! Evil or Very Mad

1/ Fart, without noise, to cause everyone to look around in disgust.
2/ Drink copious amounts of booze. Preferably hard stuff.
3/ Tell your neighbor what a cool guy you are being an ESL worker.
4/ Stewardesses are fair game unless you're gay.
5/ Prop you knees up against the seat in front of you for a laugh.
6/ Don't read stupid posts on Dave's. This one has to be the stupidest!

Keep your kids under control. It is not a big playground in the sky. If they start kicking the back of my seat, I will turn around and snarl at them.

Korean passengers are awesome at that, as well as going to the toilet during the final descent when all the seatbelt lights are on.

Summed up as:
Be patient and don't rush

unless you have too short transit time.

And if only the people who actually needed to get off ASAP got up early they would actually be able to get there in time.

Be sure to eat a huge quantity of garlic-intense kimchi and wash it down with some soj' just before you hop on the plane, because those bus and subway rides just aren't long enough to allow us to enjoy the poignant bouquet.

Why do you want people to say 'thank you' so much?

I'll get a bit p!ssed off if someone doesn't say thank you to me, but I've never got annoyed on another person's behalf for this. Everyday life must be infuriating for you.

Do: Give your children a normal dose of children's Benadryl for the flight. ^^
(Alternatively, you can wipe a finger of alcohol in the child's mouth if they are a baby.)
Do: Drink some red wine, pop a movie on your laptop, and take a long nap.
Do: Not be shy about asking for what you need (another beverage, an extra pillow, etc). It's part of the experience and happy customers are complacent customers.
Don't: Strike up a convo with the person sitting next to you unless you sincerely believe you would befriend this person under normal circumstances.

Of course, always follow the rules and respect the authority of your flight attendants. Most importantly: be a decent human being.

On airplane flights I always make sure to stand up and stretch my legs, usually by doing wind sprints and grapevines down the aisles of the plane. Bonus points if it's a double-decker plane.

Cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze. Better yet, don't cough and put your head down toward your lap if you sneeze. Viruses spread through poor hygiene (they aren't spontaneously created by the changing of the weather).

Have you ever been on a flight full of Koreans? It's interesting, to say the least. I flew from Seoul to Vietnam last year and I watched a group of ajossi heading to the toilets for a smoke, before the FA put the kibosh on that. Their faces were priceless.

It isn't necessary to thank someone who is just doing their job in some cultures
