Hi guys, I wanted some opinions on what's better:
-More foreign teachers or less foreign teachers at your school
-Provided curriculum or you having to writing your own
-Morning hours or afternoon hours
Also, does any private schools pay you for prep time or is that just unheard of? Also, is it common to have to work saturdays or can you get out of it? Also what exactly does "visa sponsorship" mean? Is that just the cost of the actual visa or everything that you pay for to get it? Basically, how much can you get the school to cover when they say visa sponsorship?
Thanks so much for any insight you can give! I have a few offers and I want to figure out which is the best... |

Your first 3 questions are a matter of personal taste and are strictly dependent on you.
Do school pay for "prep time" = yes and no. Yes in that it is part of the job of a teacher and yes in that you are salaried. No, you do not get paid EXTRA for it.
Visa sponsorship means they apply for your visa confirmation number and are your sponsor (guarantee that you are not going to become an illegal immigrant) in the country (can't get a job without one). They pay NOTHING toward your first visa (you pay for getting your documents ready, sending them to Korea and you pay for your visa at the consulate).
