So, who's feeling bad because of this stuff? I've been coughing the last few days, feel tired, and my throat and lungs are all plugged up with phlegm. Any good tips on feeling better? |

Usually doesnt bother me much but for some reason this week's episode has hit me much as you describe. Coughing jags, sore lungs, lousy sleep, a sour taste in the back of my throat that wont go away.
Treating it with outdoor avoidance as much as possible, drinking lots of plain water, & maintaining a "this too shall pass" attitude. |

This has been an especially bad week. My eyes have been watering and that hasn't happened very often. |

Hooray! Tomorrow's the school's spring picnic. 5 hours outdoors! Hello phlegm, my old friend. |

Dust levels in Seoul have hit warning levels the past three days. I begin to notice it at 180um/m2. It is 200 now, and was over 400 this morning.
Warnings are issued when a level of 400 or higher is expected for 2 hours or more. |

It's getting worse every year. More intense. Starting earlier, ending later in the year.
We know it's the deforestation of the Gobi and Chinese factory pollution.
At this rate, what's the spring going to be like in 20 years? |

Ah, good to know it's not just me. I feel like I've been chainsmoking and drinking vinegar. I ran a half marathon this Sunday... probably not a good move. |

Yeah, Monday and Tuesday I did outdoor training.
It felt like I aged 10 years and spent all of that time smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day.
I live on the east coast of Korea, so I imagine it's even worse for those in Seoul. |

I feel absolutely fine. Down in Daegu for a couple of years now, I've only seen it on one occasion where the masks are justifiable - as in, you could actually see the stuff hanging in the air.
I'm just waiting for the heavy rains to come so that they wash up the yellow dust off the streets....ICK.
No canvas shoes then, people!

Chain smoking is basically how I feel as well. |

I can almost taste it in my mouth. It's a bit of a chemical taste, not quite salty, but almost. It's hard to describe, but I can only taste it in my mouth when there's the yellow dust...
Anyone else able to taste it? |

I'm more of a fall man since there is no yellow dust then. |
