I am interested in finding out any information about this city. The reason is that I have a job interview there for a public school starting in May. I have read the wikipedia article and some other articles about it, but would like to know more. So any help would be appreciated.

What do you want to know?

I lived in Changwon for over 9 years now.

I have lived in the area 4+ years. Its a good mid sized city. Daegu and Busan are both only an hour away by bus. There is a brand new KTX line that runs direct to Seoul in under 3 hours. The city itself has pretty much everything you need though you won't be able to get as much western style food variety as you would in other cities. Still there most everything you would want is available. There are a few good foreign center bar. The community is real tight knit which can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Lots of nice parks in the city, ok little mountain ridge for hiking. Could do a lot worse than living there.

Thanks for the information. I guess I am curious if it has a decent English language bookstore, well somewhere that has an okay selection of magazines and books? If not then the net will have to do.

There used to be a good bookstore at the City Seven Mall in Changwon that had a decent selection of English Books. Last time I visited Changwon it had closed.
