Hi guys,
I will be coming to Korea for a month in July to teach at a summer camp and if I like it I will probably want to get a job for a year and obtain an E2 Visa. I went to the Korean embassy in the US today and asked them about what I should bring with me to Korea (FBI background check, Diploma) in order to change my Visa easily once Im there (and from what I read here, make a Japan 'border run' to change it). She had no idea and even said I may have to come back to the US to change it, so I thought that I should ask people who have been through this Smile.
I also did try to look it up here but can't seem to find a thread that answers my question - but if you know of one feel free to share it.
Thank you.

All your documents must be apostilled. State & Federal

E-2's are visa sponsorships. It's very difficult to get one without a 1 year contract in hand
