|
|
Hey guys - I've got a question.
I recently received my contract for August and returned it with my original documents etc.. No issues up to that point but I'm waiting for my letter and stamps to take to the embassy for the visa.
My question is, is it possible to have my documents FedEx'd to me and then go to any Korean consulate/embassy in the world? I can't recall the details from a year ago but it would seem all I'd need is my passport and maybe my drivers license for ID to complete the process?
Any problems, pitfalls, warnings or experiences with this from anyone?
Thanks,

If it is your first E2 you can go to any Korean consulate where you are a citizen or legally resident.
If you have had an E2 before you can go to any Korean consulate on the planet.
You will need your:
passport
application
photos
fee
application
visa confirmation number (or NOA if you have been hired by EPIK/GEPIK/etc.).
Additionally, if it is your first E2 you may also need your transcripts, degree, copy of your CRC (consulate dependent and not always required).

Thanks for responding ttompatz. Yeah I was there just a year ago so it sounds like I could bring my replaced passport with the 1st E2 in it for proof. I assume you mean "visa application" when you put "application" 2x's. It's via SMOE so I'd obviously bring everything they send....
Again, very helpful!
