The Obama stock market is on fire! LOL

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=%5EDJI

Hey right-wingers, I guess now that the stock market is on fire it's because of Obama, right (Well maybe the 1.2 trillion in spending)? Because when the stock market was going down, you guys sure did blame him for it. Rolling Eyes

Maybe the dems know what they are doing. Exclamation

When the DJIA hits 8279.63 (1/20/09), and it breaks even for Obama's tenure, then you can consider beginning to toot your horn. Otherwise, as far as I can tell, your Messiah hasn't done anything yet. 500 points? What about that 1362 point drop from February 5th to March 5th?

The headline on Drudge was "Obama to the rescue!". At least in idiocy, they're consistent.

The market will lose these gains in short order.

Focusing on short sighted gains in the market is one of the reasons for the meltdown of the economy. Rather than concentrating on "shareholder values" companies need to focus on sustainability and longterm growth.

Can anyone spell "Bear Market Suckers Rally"?

All Obama has done is burrow a ton of money from future generations and use it prop up the banks whose sheer incompetence and unchecked greed got us into this mess.

Basically Obama just burrowed from Peter (your kids) to pay Paul.

Where are you from that 'borrow' is spelled like that? 'To burrow' means to dig a hole into the ground like an animal (but of course you knew that).

And the no hite pls (or whatever) guy needs to calm down on the size of his new avatar.

It's going good at the moment.....

I bought very low and I'm up up up.

However, I think we're in for another slump or two or three before things pick up.

I was up about this much in early January too and then things took a nosedive again...that time I should've sold and then just bought more when they were back down again.

This time I'm looking for an indication of things going South again. If that's the case then I'm unloading and just buying more when they're back down.

You missed the point. I was getting inundated with right wing emails telling me how bad the stock market was doing the first 30 days into Obama presidency.

Ofcourse the ups and downs dont really mean st.

I am just trying to bring a little balance.
