Thanks! forgot about that one.
I'd like to start each class with a 10 minute game. It should wake them up a little |

"Connect the word".
Start with any random word. Say the first word is "apple". Students (in teams or individually...depending on class size) have to find the longest word they can that starts with "e". Maybe they choose "egg". That will give 3 points since "egg" has 3 letters.
Play to a set number of points...I find 100 is good! You should decide beforehand if other team members can help the person answering or not. I generally let them help each other but only the "target" person can answer.
Good brush-up on vocab! |

A simple board game with target grammar usually works with everyone. From there, you can do more "boring" stuff with those who are of the crossword variety.
With others, you can use flash cards and integrate that with speaking and board games. |

you don't really have to buy it. you can make it yourself based on the vocabulary they're studying.
just one word at the top (that the others have to guess) and a list of words that you can't use. |
