So myself and another co-worker or two are thinking about leaving Korea for a few days for vacation at the end of new month. Basically the criteria has to follow 3 rules.

1. Cheap flights available from Seoul
2. Warm weather/nice beaches
3. It can't be Vietnam

We are all very new to Korea so we aren't that informed when it comes to vacation spots you can do on the cheap and where to look.

Thanks a lot.

I highly recommend Boracay in the Philipines. Check out Cebu Air's website for cheap tickets. So nice there. Cebu/Bohol are nice too but not as much going on on the beaches there.

Before asking your questions, you might want to post this thread in the proper place: the travel forum.

Since your time is limited and you want to keep it cheap, might I suggest some of the nicer beaches I've seen IN Korea:

Seopori Beach, Deokjeokdo
Hanagae Beach, Muuido
Eulwangni Beach, Yeongjongdo (OK, not super nice, but it's an easy day trip from Seoul by airport shuttle)
Daecheon Beach, Boryeong
Songjeong Beach, Busan
Hyeopjae Beach, Jejudo
The three colored beaches of Woo-do, off the coast of Jeju.
Sokcho Beach, Sokcho

There are NO cheap flights to Asian destinations after school ends for the summer break. You would be looking at more than 500k for a typical flight anywhere at that time.

AFTER you get out of Korea, most places in SE Asia are pretty cheap.

Boracay makes a nice 3-5 day get-a-way as does Alona beach (both in the Philippines).

Looking a little farther afield, any of the island destinations in Thailand would also work.

Just cruise back a page or 5 here in the travel forum and you will find a gold mine of information on all of the popular destinations.
