When they're rude, kick 'em out. That's the best policy.
Congratulations Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.
Hear the protesting customer's voice mail on YouTube. The Theater turned it into a PSA.

We do not tolerate people that talk or text in the theater. In fact, before every film, we have several warnings on screen to prevent such happenings. Occasionally, someone doesn't follow the rules, and we do, in fact, kick their asses out of our theater. This video is an actual voicemail from a woman that was kicked out of one of our Austin theaters. Thanks, anonymous woman, for being awesome.

Great theater. They serve beer, but you can't take it into the movie, you have to drink it in the lobby cafe. |

Next year, I'm visiting a friend in Austin. We're definitely going to hit up that theater!
I wonder if that loon who got kicked out realizes now how stupid she appeared. I'm also wondering which made her look more stupid: the texting or calling the country "Magnited States." |

What I don't understand is why they don't simply block the connections via waves inside the movie theatre....
If airplanes can do it even where you're boarding, it can't be that difficult for the theaters. In fact, it's not even expensive.
There are several places that already have this in effect. |

I've been in Cinemas where people cheer when teenagers get kicked out for talking. Good show here then, and the woman has made a joke of herself, excellent.
Next up I want to see similar happening to people playing music on their phones on public transport. |
