It's the only grocery list you'll ever need. Dr. Oz covers everything from produce to desserts to keep your kitchen stocked with only the healthiest foods.

Item 98: Coffee

I think Dr. Oz has a different idea of healthy than I do.

I'm curious - why isn't coffee good for you?

Because cafeine is bad...oh wait that was based on a 1999 study...in 2002 it went back to being beneficial to you as it increases concentration...no no, sorry, in 2009 it was deemed to toxic for you.

Eggs? holy crap better be careful, those will KILL you...no no wait a more recent study says one Egg a day is good.

Simple way to eat and be healthy: moderation, reasonable portions, lots of fruits and veggies, reduce the snacks.

Want to have beef...no problem. Instead of eating a gigantic T-bone, reduce the meat portion to 1/4 of your plate and fill the rest with veggies.

Variety is good so eat white meats, red meats, fish, veggies, cereals...but watch the portions.

Then, there is always the ole classic...want to be healthy? Eat less - move more.

Maybe Uwb feels that coffee actually belongs at the top of the list of the healthiest foods for you...and not way down at 98.

Cause a lot of people could have their health severely impaired...perhaps even die...if I didn't get my coffee everyday.

I have read recently that coffee has some effectiveness in preventing diabetes. Probably because coffee tends to make us eat less and move around more, as Sam Kinneson suggested.

Be careful now...Red Wine was declared good to prevent heart attacks...but that was changed soon after as it was said it destroys your lived. So you balance the two: you want a strong heart but a destroyed liver or a pacemaker and a healthy liver??

Don't get me started on WHITE wine!!!
