We live in Suwon and want to buy an aircon able to cool our 3 bedroom apartment. Wheels, wall-mount, whatever...

We are willing to pay 200-300,000 won.

Thanks!

Always a tricky situation getting second hand aircon as there will probably be transportation and installation fees.
We have a 3-bedroom apt, but recently got an 8-pyung wall mounted unit.
It's only on a few hours a day and typically we are all in the living room when it is on. With a few fans spread throughout the other rooms, it is pleasant enough.
If you try to chill all three rooms, you'll need a bigger unit which will make the room it is situated too cold to use!

Emarts may have units from about 580K new, which will include fitting but not the angle-iron frame for the outside fan.

We are leaving in February, so needed an inexpensive fix for aircon this year.
We went to a 중고 에어컨 Used Aircon shop near our home.
We got a wall mounted unit for 200K, fitting and gas replacement was 80k.
We had no angle frame for the outside fan, so instead of paying another 70K for something we don't need after September, we just positioned it next to the window on the terrace.
We open the window to let the hot air out or keep it closed to dry hanging clothes quicker as the weather is so humid.
Very happy with our purchase of 280K which the shop will buy back of us for between 50-100K next year, or we can ask the next tenants if they want to keep it.

Alternatively, if you want one for a few years, Emart have 8-pyung ones starting at about 600K (seen some stores vary +or-).

Normally they will charge you around 100,000 for installation

And to be honest, a used aircon seller in korea is probably going to rip off a foreigner. Either charging too much or giving you an ancient an inefficient model.

Check if it has the outside fan unit, not just the wall-mounted piece and probably won't include angle frame.

Just buy from a local used shop. You wont get ripped off if you have th em come out and quote a price first. Anything used you buy from a foreigner will not be cheap enough once you pay moving and install costs. You might need to pay a bit more. Dont bother with high efficiency units as they are a scam. I own one.

Or look at www.enuri.com with help from a korean speaker.
