Is there anywhere where I can buy a decent sized bottle of maple syrup at a reasonable price? All I have seen is the tiny bottles of Canadian stuff at E-Mart and such for about 14k.

It's OK if it's completely fake and poor quality. I'm not a syrup snob. Normally I just buy Wal-Mart Great Value in the States.

I was going explain about things like logic and economics but ...

have you tried Costco! If not then try the Korean brand syrups - not maple but sweet.

Sorry, I didn't mention, but I don't have a Costco membership, and I'm not planning on getting one.

Where can you get Korean brand syrups? I don't think I've seen them, but maybe I just didn't know what I was looking at.

Home Plus almost always carries some sort of crappy brand from the states (think ms butterworth) for around 6,000 a bottle or so.

So it's just honey and sugar? I'm not sure what you mean by "general syrup." Not just like corn syrup, right?

Basically a sweet syrup that goes on hot cakes and pancakes. Pretty much sugar and honey. It is okay but it ain't maple syrup.

High Street Market in Itaewon. Walk out of exit 2 and kp going straight. Go over the top of the hill, it'll be on your left, second floor, under a Thai restaurant, just past a few swanky hotels.

I ordered a large jug on iherb.com and the shipping wasn't crazy.
