So I was just wondering, has anybody...anybody heard of/used Gloii RS??

This is their website: http://rs.gloii.com/, and they seem pretty legit. My only problem is that I can't find any reviews or testimonials on them outside of their own website! I've seen a lot of job postings from them (they seem to only recruit for hagwons/private academies) which I am thoroughly interested in.

Also, I'm a gyopo and they seem to be focused on hiring gyopo only. So if anybody's heard of/used Gloii, could you tell me the experience? Good? Bad? Anything?

ok i got my current public school job through them. i'm also a gyopo. i couldn't get my f4 visa until i came here and applied for it. tony ahn COMPLETELY knew and understood that. he reassured me that the school would allow me to come over, let me apply and receive the visa, and then thes chool would contract me.

the night i got here, i find out that the school thinks i already had my visa. which i didn't, as it wasn't even possible (paperwork logistics). they were not happy with the situation.

so basically...he lied to me and to my school. luckily everything worked out fine, but from my experience, i would not recommend this recruiter.

now, my friend went through them for her public school job, and she thinks they are great stuff (granted she came over on an E2 visa), so maybe i just had an abnormal experience with them.

Hey, does anyone have any new information about gloii? I just started working with them, but I can't seem to get Tony to get me job offers in the places I want.

I've heard only good things about him from the hagwon and the teachers that he recruits for. He answers his emails promptly, and knows a lot of the ins and outs of the hagwon business and the legal issues. He seems to know also a lot more of the off-the-beaten path opportunities. I think he's just MUCH better than the pin-head recruiters that seem to flock to Korea and spam everyone else in their path. He does seem to have his plate full, though, at times. Maybe that's a good sign.
