Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a website with a list of the international schools in/around Seoul. I found this one but not sure how up to date it is.

http://www.easyexpat.com/en/seoul/school/international-schools.htm

I would also appreciate any advice at all on finding a job in an international school (in Seoul) from those who have worked/ are currently working in one.

Many thanks in advance.

Looks like it's fairly up to date in terms of the Seoul area. Are you also interested in schools outside of Seoul? There are a few in Busan as well.

You may want to check out this forum for information on any kind of international teaching. They also have a website that reviews all sorts of schools (as not every international school is perfect. Just like Hagwons, you can get a craptastic one). It does however, require a $29 fee for the year. Pretty worth it though with the information you get.

You probably already know this, but be sure to also have your teaching certifications from back home and either a BA or Masters in the course you'd like to teach (if you're interested in secondary). They also usually prefer teachers with at least two years of full-time classroom experience, though it's not completely unlikely to get a job with less apparently.

... I'm not actually working in one though. Razz I just did a lot of research on it because I'd like to do the same (Korea and elsewhere) when I graduate.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the list of schools - that's very useful.

[I've deleted the rest of this post, and put it in a separate thread, because it was off-topic.]
