I need to change money for a trip to Bali. For those of you that have gone when and where did you change your money? Is there anything I need to bring besides my foreigner card? TIA |

the banks that have currency exchange booths at incheon airport very often do but it is not guaranteed. you might have to try a few different booths. the rates are the same as seoul. |

The banks in the city usually do NOT carry IDR.
You can usually get IDR at the airport. IF there is none available, take USD.
Unless you plan to take pockets full of IDR your best bet is to get USD at the airport (or bank if it is convenient to you) and exchange down there.
You only need about 500k IDR to last you until you get settled.
DO NOT TAKE WON TO INDONESIA. It is virtually worthless there (very hard to exchange and you get a really bad rate when you do find somewhere).
