I just extended my E2 visa and have decided that I actually want to stay with my school for an additional 3 months after it expires. That being said, I'll need to extend my visa once again. Does anyone know if it's possible to extend the E2 visa twice, and if so what documents will be required? I heard that I will need to submit a background check since this will be my second time extending??

yup, you'll need a new crc! You can get it apostilled (or the equivalent, I forget exactly what it's called) at your embassy in Seoul.

If you're from Canada I recommend you use the winnipeg police website to order your crc, I've heard they are the fastest/easiest way to get one done.

No, all checks in Canada are from the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC database) - which is maintained by the RCMP. However, only checks you get from the RCMP are, officially, RCMP checks.

While any police check in Canada is a national check, kimmi (in all its wisdom) has deemed a national check to only be DIRECTLY from a national police service (RCMP, or FBI for Americans).
