i like using these boards. you can find good games that have just been handed down. better than dropping 60 for a game thats really good but not worth playing through again. red dead redemption and mgs4 for example.

Yongsan, Technomart, COEX. Prices are really not that different.

I found that ALL the games I bought here ran in English (the language to which my Korean bought PS3 is set), even though the vendor insisted that the game version was Korean (e.g. Little Big Planet 1 & 2). I wouldn't take this as a guarantee though.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 has English commentary but Korean menus. I paid W70,000 to import it from USA off play-asia.com

haha, I was a die hard pro evo player for so many years, as long as I can remember. To the extent I hated FIFA players like I hate Man U fans. But, and even now I find this difficult to say, FIFA 2011 has converted me. Trust me that's painful for me to say!!

The games I bought here in Korea:

Bad Company
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Burnout Paradise
Call of Duty Black Ops *single player is boring but multiplayer is fun
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 *recommended
Dead Space
Dead Space 2 *these 2 games are great, DS2 has multiplayer
Fallout 3
Farcry 2
Fracture
Front Mission Evolved
Gran Turismo 5 *actually pretty cool and much better than Prologue
Grand Theft Auto 4
Half Life 2 Orange Box *for the memories
Heavy Rain
Little Big Planet
Little Big Planet 2 *can you say "aaaaw"?
Mafia 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Need for Speed Undercover
Race Driver GRID
Red Dead Redemption
Resistance 2
Soul Calibur 4
Wolfenstein

All working though not all of them made me happy.

Lots more games for Xbox 360 but I got them all in Thailand (cough cough)

Most western games generally have English menus/language with some exceptions (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a notable exception). Japanese games vary a bit more, with JRPGs generally being in Korean though. If a game is pretty popular, and the Korean version doesn't have English options, some vendors in Yongsan will have the American version.

And yes, craigslist has many people selling their PS3 games, though it is often the same list of games

If you buy FIFA 11 from Play-Asia your online code will only work if you make a PSN account for Hong Kong. After many calls to Play-Asia i finally found out that's why it wouldn't work for me.

Hi, was wondering if the Korean version they are selling in danawa has the menu in english or is it just plain korean.

I'm asking this becos the Heavy Rain has only the korean menu. so am wondering if this is the same case for Infamous 2.
