Looking for some help here:

I am wanting to go to China for my summer break(last week in June and first week in Aug.) but will also want to go back when my contract is finished next March.

The travel agency I've been talking to has told me about an option that I can get a multiple entry visa for 6months. But I will need a visa that's good for 1 year.

I've found a place I can send my stuff to in New Jersey, but no way am I sending all my documents all the way there.

Anyone know where I can get one without too much hassle??

If you're concerned about the '6 months left on ARC' rule by the Chinese consulate in Seoul, your visit during the summer creates the exception that you can use later.

You can get around the ARC rule if you have visited China on a valid visa within the previous 2 years from the time of application.

thanks for you suggestion. but i'm not concerned about my ARC. I have 8 months left on that.
My main concern is that I want to go to china 2 different times but about 7 months apart. being that the visa is so expensive it doesn't make sense to pay that fee 2x, so I'm just looking to get a 1 year visa so i can re-enter under the same visa 7 months later.

supposedly there are 1 and 2 year multiple entry china visas. the form i filled out for the chinese embassy listed it as an option. maybe b/c of the 6 month arc rule they only issue 6 month visas to E2 people. i tried to get one and the chinese embassy sent me back a 6 month visa that was marked as 2 entries. the 6 month multiple entry is not multiple entries more than 2 btw.
