|
|
Hi guys i need help,
My parents are coming to visit me at the end of July, i will be working in seoul for 4 of the days and will have a long weekend off with them.
I thought i had a nice little itinerary planned out with all of Seoul's sights and then maybe Busan and the beach for the weekend. However my coworkers were saying that it will be pouring all through the end of July and now im worried.
Has anyone tried to show family/friends around Korea during rainy season. What can I show them??? My parents were looking forward to some simple beach time, now im worried we'll just be indoors at museums and stuff (not my parents cup of tea really)
Help please!!!! Thanks |

If it rains a lot, just focus on the culinary side of Korea. They'll get to taste how delicious the different foods are in Korea - BBQ, noodles, etc. They'll be jealous as you have a chance to eat the same everyday.
If they stay at Hamilton or Holiday Inn for example, they can relax at the sauna in their robes while you're at work.
Find them a luxury love hotel one or two nights, they'll dig that.
Go to some museums, Lotte World, etc. if it rains. |

it will most likely not rain the entire time they are here.
The rainy season does not mean that it rains everyday, just that it rains a lot.
You should have plenty of time when it is not raining. |

It might not rain every day, but I also wouldn't recommend going to the beach in July. |

This. It won't rain everyday, that is certain. Good chance it won't rain at all. |

If your parents want some beach time, they better stop at Hawaii. (Assuming that they are coming from North America)
Trust me, you don't want to take your folks to any Korean beach during the end of July/beginning of August. It's just as crowded as a subway station.
Jjimjilbang can be a good thing for a rainy day. Like others said: it won't rain every day! |
