I doubt you'll find any. 99% of Korean doctors work on Koreans and Japanese tourists. Sure some blacks and whites have gotten some universal procedures done, like lipo, breasts, laser hair, moles removed... things like that don't really matter what race you are. But things about bone structure, personally, I wouldn't trust a Korean doctor to do on another race. If you did decide to go with one, you're more than likely going to be his guinea pig. With something as visible as your nose, I don't suspect that's something you want to take a chance on.
If you want to find a cheaper alternative to the States, try Thailand. The doctors there do a lot of work on European and Australian tourists year round. I dare say you might find half a dozen that have worked on white noses in half a google search.
Other than that, the only options left are Europe and the States. Now I know, those are the expensive options. But I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. And while I am a bit self-conscious about my own nose from time to time, I'm willing to hold off on getting it corrected until I have the funds adequate enough to go to someone with a proven track record. |

Cue eye rolling.
Of course there are some foreigners who have had surgery here.
I personally haven't had anything invasive but I've had some minor cosmetic work done at various doctors in Apgujeong. They're definitely not the cheapest choice in country, but they're still much cheaper than back home and all the doctors I've been to speak fairly good English. Almost all the doctors and dentists in that area have done training or university in the US, and from what I've seen, they all have modern equipment and years of experience.
If you check searcheslcafe.com you'll find some older threads about various cosmetic surgeries, and everyone usually says the same thing: go to Apgujeong, have a few consultations, choose a doctor that you feel comfortable with.
All that said, I'd also recommend looking into medical tourism in Thailand - There's a ton of resources online about surgery there, and the clinics and hospitals usually list rates, so you'll be able to compare prices. |

Wow. How can you say "cue eye rolling" and then just restate everything I said in my post? Did you even bother to read it before you brushed it off? |

I really don't want to derail the thread, but...
You posted a borderline racist comment about Korean doctors and how they're not to be trusted because they have no experience.
I posted a comment about how most Korean doctors are well educated and fully capable of doing surgery on a variety of races.
Not the same. |

That's not what he said. He said they don't have significant experience with non-Asians, and thus it would be smart to look to a place where they do. That's not racist, it's common sense. Is it racist for me to say that a Korean hairdresser is probably not the best person to go to if you have curly hair? |

Reminds me of a story of my North African roommate from years ago... He was in China for about 4 months. Everytime he went to get a haircut the whole salon had to have like a sidebar to discuss how to cut his curly hair.
I believe they even had to call the president of China to seek authorization. |

Plenty of places with experience handling nose jobs for foreigners. Try a university hospital with a plastic surgery clinic. Hanyang is good and the price is not that high. under 3 grand.
over 1500 russian patient's visit Korea every month for treatment for all sorts of problems from cosmetic to major surgeries.
it's becoming a massive business and should help improve the overall care in the hospitals for people here full time. |
