I'd love to learn Chinese at some point. Korean first, though...

The fact that there are nearly 1 million South Koreans living in China, and they tend to live together in clusters of Korea Towns, maintaining their Korean lifestyle, can be both a blessing and a curse.

One could replace 'China' with 'America' and it would still be true.

Or Canada, for that matter.

It might be a bit off topic but I think us waeguks integrate a lot better than the Chinese students I see back home. They only ever seem to be out and about with each other and I can't say I've ever met a Chinese student in a bar. They really seem to keep to themselves, although it is easier for most of us working in environments where we are surrounded by Koreans all of the time

Just a random musing there.
