Hello all,
I'm going to go with Apostille Pros for the CBC apostillization. What kind of apostille is needed? Regular apostille offered on their site or Department of State? |

Go with the Dept of State. It's a federal document, so some state offices won't do it. Better safe than sorry, yes? |

They know who will do it and who won't. They will send it to the DoS or Cali. Cali is about $100 cheaper. |

Right; I just saw your post saying that you got the Cali apostille and it was accepted right? And you didn't have to be a resident of california for that? |

I got one from the California SoS because I was in school in LA, and the CA apostille actually looks a lot more legit than the DoS apostille. However, just to be on the safe side, since immigration technically only accepts the DoS apostille, I got mine done my Authxperts http://authxperts.com/. It was $105 to get it overnighted back to me (you pay the cost of shipping it to them as well), but I would advise shipping it to them as cheaply as possible since they get documents authenticated in batches and probably only go to the DoS once or twice a week. They're not going to rush it over if you overnight it to them (or they didn't for me).
Good luck! |
