I've noticed the best deals on travel websites(072.com) here are for flights leaving a week later via the real time tracker.
Is it worth waiting until a week or 2 before my vacation period? Due to delays, I'm looking at paying 700,000 won for a trip to Manila, Phillipines if I reserve in advance.
That's a crime! |

when's your vacation period? i paid W1,000,000 flat last year during chuseok for the same flight.
if you're hoping for a flight during a busy season for korea, i'd book it asap - the prices will only go up as the time goes by. |

Those seats are last minute cancellation or unsold seats within a fixed-price block deal between large agencies and carriers.
It gives you an awesome deal if you weren't planning much in advance yet decided to travel spontaneously upon finding one. But relying on 072.com for a specific destination within a predetermined range of dates most likely yields no seat at all unless out of pure luck. |
