I don't have any really special needs for my hair style, but I do use a dye, Redken for Men. This isn't a product that the barber can just apply right from the bottle -- it requires judgment on his/her part about how much to use, in order to get the right color. So some English-language communication is probably necessary here. Money is no object for me, I'd just like to find a stylist I can rely on 8-10 times a year. Thanks for any help! |

I don't know about Itaewon but as an uber paranoid bottle blonde I always went to Toni and Guy in Chungdam. Most of the stylists can speak english and they usually go for training in the UK. |

Hair and Joy is pretty awesome. Lucy (very popular) just left and opened her own place called "Lucy Hair" but Johnny is still there and is apparently good.
Hair and Joy is in Hongdae, you can google for directions. Lucy Hair is in Sinchon......I think it was exit two? Walk past the Natur Ice cream and turn right before the Hyundai Department Store. Lucy is the bomb, and I've had better hair experiences in Korea than I ever did back home. She's pricey, but not out of control in my opinion..... If money's not an issue then whatevs! |
