|
|
My girlfriend and I will begin searching for jobs in S Korea beginning in December. We are scheduled to be married on October 15. I was wondering if this will create issues for us. When she changes her name, her docs will no longer match I assume. What does she need to do between the wedding and the job hunt to ensure there are no issues? I want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Thanks. |

If she has a valid passport now they will just add an amendment to the 2nd page of her passport for the name change due to marriage. It won't be an issue.
The only problem will arise if she gets her documents in order then changes her name and then gets a new passport then applies for a job. (the passport won't match the other documents).

Thanks for the info. Will she need to get the name on her diploma changed, or is it ok to leave these things in her maiden name? |
