Brief background to my questions: I came to Korea this time around last August, after 8 or so months in the States. New school, new visa. I submitted an apostilled FBI criminal check along with my original degree and transcripts. A bit after my visa was issued, the E-2 visa requirements changed.
I'm renewing at my school and extending my current visa. However, I'm being asked to resupply documents based on the current requirements (a notarized, apostilled degree copy vs. the old original degree + transcripts). What confuses me is that my manager says I also need to submit my criminal record check again. Apparently immi knows that this is a hassle, so I just need to submit it by the time my second contract finishes.
Can anyone clear this up? |
