|
|
I already know about Nicedeli and Ezshopkorea...but are there any other places that deliver?
Because I live in a rural town (or I guess Korea in general), my bread options are limited.
My town has plenty of whitebread, "corn"bread (bits of corn, not soul food), and other weird concoctions but I would like some other options and figured that since Koreans are so crazy about internet shopping surely it must be possible to order bread from a bakery online here.
I dont need "artisan" bread....but a nice dark rye would be fantastic. I usually end up buying several (double) loaves from Costco and freezing them.
Any suggestions for ORDERING and not for driving to Seoul and picking it up...I've already read that thread. |

I bought a breadmaker and make my own. You can order whole-wheat or rye flour from the nicedeli. It's super-easy and cheap. You'll make up the price of the breadmaker easily over the course of a year. |

Thanks, thats probably what I'm going to do. I considered doing it earlier, but I always wonder how the bread will turn out.
What kind of breadmaker are you using?
I also found the exact bread (the Silla Rye from Costco) on Gmarket....so I've found a solution for now. Thanks! |

I would be very interested to know the brand/model as well. I'm really interested in buying one, but I've had a really crappy breadmaker in the past. |

I used to use a bread maker at home. It made life very easy. That being said, I love making it by hand now. |

I don't know the model and I'm on vacation for two months so I can't tell you. But, it's just a standard model Korean one. I bought if off someone leaving for 30 000 won.
In my experience, it's not so much the machine as the recipe. Just experiment and you should find a few that you like. |
